Indian Nature Cure Practitioners’ Association

Formation of Association:

Some progressive nature cure practitioners had been feeling the need for organising this profession for its proper development in the light of the modern research in health services. But none came forward to take this responsibility as it involved lot of time, labour and money to collect particulars of nature cure practitioners working in various states of our country. After long waiting Dr. Yogendra Nath Mishra who used to live in Agra and Mathura but later shifted to Delhi in 1958 took up this responsibility. He contacted some known eminent naturopaths, held meetings with them and started the process for forming an association in the year 1973.

The Main Objects of Association:

  • To promote education and training in natural Therapeutics, health maintenance.
  • To develop principles, theories, techniques of natural therapeutics and apply them in healing process.

Affiliation Guidelines

The following rules/principles have been prescribed by Indian Nature Cure Practitioners Association (INPA) for interested persons/ Institutes/firms/Institutions/partnership firms etc. regarding affiliation with INPA for imparting knowledge and skills through its educational courses and programmes. INPA provides two kinds of affiliation, namely

  • Provisional affiliation for a period of 1 year subject to fulfilments of norms.
  • Regular affiliation if the Institution satisfies the fulfilment of norms.

INPA conferr 'Gem of Naturopathy' award to the people who played prominent role in spreading and promoting Nature Cure System in the society and country. The list of persons who have been given Gem of Naturopathy Award so far may be seen in the link given below

INPA has introduced few awards in the year 2023 to owner prominent naturopaths in the country . These awards are given to the senior naturopaths to recognise their work in the field of natural therapeutics.

INPA Membership

INPA is an organisation to promote naturopathy in the country. It plays a catalytic role to establish natural therapeutics by associating the common man as much as possible to Nature Cure system so that people could adopt natural lifestyle and live disease free long life.

For promoting Nature Cure system among the people this association provide following categories of membership:

    (A) Practitioner Member -

  • A person who has practiced Nature Cure independently for 3 years or a person who holds degree or diploma in Nature Cure after having completed successfully 4 years course in Nature Cure in a recognised institution or teaching Nature Cure may be enrolled as Practitioner Member.
  • A practitioner member shall pay a subscribed fee every 3 years to get his life membership updated. A Practitioner member shall also be required to contribute to INPA fund an amount as may be decided by central executive from time to time.
  • (b) Ordinary Member-

  • A non practitioner member person having special qualifications and / or having interest in promotion of Nature Cure, may be enrolled as ordinary member. The ordinary members shall consist of the following categories:

    1. Sympathiser Members

    2. Life Members

    3. Patron Members

  • One can make application to the INPA office for becoming member of this organisation with prescribed membership fee and necessary documents. The right for accepting and rejecting application for membership is vested in Executive Committee of INPA. The list of members ( as per available record ) of INPA may be seen in below given link.
